The 4-Hour Workweek Tim Ferris

The latest buzz is around the latest book by Tim Ferriss entitled “The 4-Hour Workweek” (currently it is at No. 19 of Amazon Bestsellers List). The title is enticing enough for all the professional bloggers, internet marketeers, and home business entrepreneurs. Even big corporate CEOs would like to work only 4-Hour per week, and enjoy the rest of 164 hours. (in case if you’re wondering, *ahem one week we have 24×7=168 hours). The author, Tim Ferriss is not just another ordinary motivation speaker cum author, he is a champion kick boxer, world champion cage fighter, successful entrepreneur, a Princeton guest lecturer, a fighter, a dancer (a world record holding one) and also an actor (among man other things). If that is not impressive enough to you, then I don’t know what will.

Basically, “The 4-Hour Workweek” is about creating your own a simple road map for freeing yourself from the 9-5 grind. The premise of “The 4-Hour Workweek” is that there are three currencies in a digital world: time, income, and mobility. In the last 2-3 years, it’s become possible to do things like outsource your life and create virtual businesses, both of which can enable you to live the lifestyle of a millionaire on less than $50,000 per year.

The traditional concept of retirement at the age of 60 years old, as well as single offices with 9-5 clocks, is hopelessly outdated.

For “The 4-Hour Workweek” book, Tim Ferriss has spent more than five years learning the secrets of the New Rich, a fast-growing subculture who has abandoned the “deferred-life plan” and instead mastered the new currencies—time and mobility—to create luxury lifestyles in the here and now.

Hey, even Robert Scoble got hooked to it. If Scoble says it is good then it should be good, right?! (How Scoble Reads 622 RSS Feeds Each Morning - Scoble interviewed by Tim Ferriss)

Why does pg 284 of Tim Ferriss’ book make use of a hoax email chain letter? Fraud or oversight?

Also, he says he’s a champion fighter. Independent searches have found no records of him registering as a fighter or fights that he has won.

People are so hungry for heroes these days they will believe anything. If this guy is a fraud, i hope you guys catch and expose him for what he is.

Thanks for the info. The solution is simple. Don’t buy his book if you think he is a fraud. SIMPLE!.
