Hi!, If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or sign up for free email updates.. Thanks for visiting!
No doubt one of the largest social news networking sites is Digg. If a story make it to the front page, it will generate tons and tons of traffics. However, it is not easy for a story to make it to the front page. Fortunately there are other ways to get free flow of traffics from Digg. Tom6a of SEOmoz has written a simple guide to get traffic by just making comments on Digg.
1. If you are going to provide a link in a comment, make sure it is a link to quality content. You should not link to any blogspam. Make sure the post are well written and researched.
2. Must be on topic. If you want to be noticed by others, make sure you post smart and related comments.
3. Be the first person to comment. If you are the first person to comment, most likely you will get a lot of replies and will bring in traffic to your site.
4. Check out the upcoming news. It is pointless to comment on front page news as you’re not the first person to comment. Always try check out the upcoming or hot news.
5. Get a good username. Most Diggers dislike marketing or SEO related username. Get a user-friendly username and you will be loved and well remembered. Always remember Digg is a community site.
That about to summarize it all. Have fun digging and commenting!

Hmm… Sound good. I’ll try it. Thanks for your information.
Always good to share information
I will have to try this. It never occurred to me to make comments on Digg about other blogs or websites. I learn something new about social networking, tagging and bookmarking everyday.
Thanks for the information. I’ve been wanting to be more active in Digg. This is helpful.
You are welcome! Please drop by more often.
