This is a nice update. Link units can be profitable and still unobtrusive for readers.

I do agree link units are unobtrusive, but I think it is hard to convince readers to click and convert that click into earning.

but links has lower payout than the ads … you have to click twice to be paid

so if there 3 link ads vs 3 big ads, you’ve 50-50chance they’ll click either

if there’s 1 link ad vs 3 big ads, higher chance they’ll click the big ads

so in turn i’ll still stick with just 1 link ads

What is the different between google and google adsense.

I put links on my blog, so far, I only earn $6. Wow, very difficult of $ to make like that.

Jamy, Google is a search engine where you type in your keywords to search something. While AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google. Website owners or bloggers can enroll in this program to enable advertisements in the form of text, image and, more recently, video advertisements on their sites and earn revenue whenever visitors click on the ads. (I hope Google is paying me for doing this promotion for them, Haha)

Yup, I do earn money from Google AdSense. However, it is not an easy task. It takes time. Slowly build up your content.
So you earned $6, that is not bad at all. Soon it will turn to $600 or $6000
