Remember the phrase “As cool as cucumber”?. For this hot summer, Pepsi Japan has launched their latest drink, Pepsi Ice Cucumber. The new green carbonated drink which hit stores here on Tuesday, doesn’t actually have any cucumber in it — but has been artificially flavored to resemble “the refreshing taste of a fresh cucumber,”. (Now you know everything in Japan are mostly artificial, even their hospitality

To get join in the frenzy, I got myself one bottle at 7-11 store nearby my house. As for the taste: tried it, hated it.
The moral of the story, “If you are looking for a cucumber, it is better to eat it than to drink it”.

the color of the drink is weird. looks like my mint listerine. i doubt i can bring myself to gulp it down. or i think i’m drinking my listerine.

Hi Sha, Pepsi is trying out something new to compete with Coca-cola.
It is a pity that there is no such product here in the US. I will try cos I think it is cooling for the hot humid Florida summer.
