Everyone knows that the Japanese are the most hardworking society in the world. It is no surprise that most of the Japanese men work 7 days a week, and hardly have time to accompany their wives and family. (That is also one of the reasons why population of Japan is declining, too much time at work, less time on the bed
). So how about weekend?. What kind of activities that most of the Japanese will do during the weekend?.
Normally weekend is family day. Most of the Japanese will bring their family out to places like shopping complex at city center. They will do some weekend shopping, enjoy a great meal or allow their daughter to take photo with giant green monsters.
As for the Japanese teenagers, weekend is the best time for them to have live band street performance. Japanese teenagers love to perform and do live band performance. Almost every corner of the city is filled with live bands. Visitors can just sit down and enjoy free live performances. (Even though not all performances are good, some are really bad)
And finally, there are those Japanese weirdos. They are the unique type of Japanese. For them, weekend is the best time to dress up like a character from manga. Have a look at this white lace princess. Isn’t she weird, *ahem I mean pretty.
So you see. Weekend is the best time for everyone. There are just too many things to see, to hear, to taste during the weekend. And if you are tired, you can always take a nap too while listening to some rock music. Nice huh.

hhaahaha, what do you do on weekends then?
Go around and shoot photos of weird people.
Is it true that they really work long hours during the weekday? My FIL said that the Japanese companies won’t send their female employees or wives to work in France, bcos most likely they won’t want to leave France after staying here for a while, seeing all the rights they could have.
Haha, it is very true.
Hmmm…interesting weekend you have
Yeah, was quite interesting
Wow…envy. Great weekend you had. I wish to go there too.
Will be going to HK end of this year. Anyone interested to join?
I was at HK for conference last April.

Ya Kuanhoong, I know Japs I worked with them for more than 15 years! No wonder there are so many “pubs” in Japan cater for ‘single’ married ladies! hehe! Hey how about the divorce rate there? curious!
Hi BokJae,
According to online statistics, Japan divorce rate is approximately 27%.
One in every four marriages ends up to divorce. Scary huh.
Tokyo is not a good place. I agree
Hi Kenny,
Thanks for dropping by.
I don’t like Tokyo too. Everybody there is like living in a rat cage. So crowded.
