If you refer to my previous post “10 Simple ways to increase Alexa Rank for your site“, it well known that one of the main criteria to increase your Alexa Rank is by using Alexa toolbar. However previous Alexa Toolbar is only available for IE. Now you can get Alexa stat in Firefox by using Sparky plugin. Sparky is a free FireFox browser plugin that accompanies you as you surf, providing useful information about the sites you visit without interrupting your Web browsing. With this plugin installed, you can learn about Web sites Traffic Trend information. Besides that, you can get detailed traffic information including Reach and Rank. With this plugin, you are able to surf more efficiently with Related Links for each page.

Sparky features overview

1. Traffic Trend

Sparky’s trendline feature allows you to track a website’s popularity over time, plotting the traffic rank for the last 4 months on a handy little sparkline.

2. Reach Meter and Traffic Rank

Sparky’s reach and rank features give you a quick overview of a site’s popularity. The blue bar gives you an overall indicator – is this site popular or not? The rank number tells you exactly how this site ranks in comparison to all other sites on the Web

Great post!

Toolbars can do amazing things. Last week, we launched ToolbarStation (http://www.ToolbarStation.com). It’s the world’s first directory of useful toolbars, with several hundred listings.

The toolbars that exist, and what they can do, are absolutely extraordionary. If the functionality of the new Alexa toolbar interests you, then it’s definitely worth browsing the site.

Thanks again for pointing out this new, cool resource.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the info
