Snap Shots is an online tool that allows readers to preview your links to bring the most appropriate information about the sites you’re pointing to. Your readers don’t even have to leave your site to get the best of other sites. Now Snap Shots is offering you a portion of the revenue generated from ads appear in Snap Shots.
The program is known as Snap Share. Once you enable and configure Snap Shares from within your account, Snap will automatically take a portion of the advertising inventory in the shots on a given site and share them in one of three ways:
- A site’s existing advertising provider (such as Google AdSense) will supply the ad and credit the site’s account appropriately. You enter your ad network identification (such as publisher ID) on the Snap Shares page, and revenue generated by these ads is paid to you directly by the ad network, such as Google AdSense.
- A site can market itself using text or graphics. This is an easy way for a site to promote specials, news, etc.
- A site can donate the ad inventory to a beloved charity such as Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, etc.
Besides that you can also add your affiliate ads into Snap Share. You are permitted to use affiliate tracking code, compatible with ad networks such as Linkshare, in the click URL for your text or graphical ads. Simply enter an affiliate link as the click URL behind your text or graphical ad under “My Own Ad” on the Snap Shares page.
To add Snap Shots is a simple process. First, you need a Snap Shots account — sign up for free here. If you already have Shots on your site and want to import your settings to a new account. You can easily customize Shots to look and act the way you want. At the end of the short customization process, you will be given a short snippet of Javascript code to place on each page of your site where you want Snap Shots to appear.
With Snap Share, now you have more ways to maximize your online revenues.
