No doubt Microsoft Powerpoint is the most used presentation software. All over the world, Powerpoint is widely used by business people, educators, students, and trainers as a tool to deliver presentation or messages in an attractive manner. However, sometimes it is difficult to manage all your Powerpoint files in one storage space. With so many files and folders, how you wish that you can just upload, store, share and even present all your Powerpoint files in a single location. Fortunately now it is possible to do so with so many good Internet services out there. Below is a compilation of 5 sites that allow you to upload, store, share and present your Powerpoint files.

1. Scribd

Scribd lets you publish and discover documents online. It is like a big online library where anyone can upload.  Part of the idea behind Scribd is that everyone has a lot of documents sitting around on their computers that only they can read. With Scribd, it is hope such documents will be unlocked, this information will be shared with everyone by putting it on the web. There are all sorts of other features that make it easy and fun to publish, convert, embed, analyze, and read documents. Scribd make use of a custom Flash document viewer that lets you display documents right in your Web browser.

2. SlideShare

SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations and slideshows. SlideShare supports almost all presentation file formats. You can upload your PowerPoint, OpenOffice, Keynote or PDF files, tag them, embed them into your blog or website, browse others’ presentations, and comment on individual slides. What’s more, the transcripts of your presentation will be indexed by internet search engines and show up in search results. It’s a great way to share your ideas with others, or to learn from other people.

3. Google Docs

Google Docs is a free service from Google. It is consists of web-based word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Google’s version of Powerpoint is called Presentation. Basically with Google Presentation, you can Import existing presentations in .ppt and .pps file types. You can also share and edit presentations with your friends and coworkers. It is also possible to have real-time viewing of presentations, online, from separate remote locations.

4. ThinkFree Online

ThinkFree Online is currently still in the beta testing period. There are two edition of ThinkFree Online. The Basic Edition is FREE while for the Premium edition, there is a subscription service which is currently free during the beta period. Each ThinkFree Online user is allotted 1 GB of online storage space for saving documents. ThinkFree Online lets users collaborate on documents with others, publish to a blog or the web. ThinkFree Online also keeps a version history per document of the changes that are made. One of the main advantages of ThinkFree Online is the ability to create Microsoft Office compatible files. 5. Microsoft Office Live

Microsoft Office Live is currently under beta testing. There are two types of services offered by Microsoft Office Live – Small Business and Workspace. Small Business users can have an unique domain name, and the ability to create their own website. It also provides periodic web site traffic reports. While for normal users, Workspace includes the ability to share documents and organize events, but does not include a website or a first level domain. Workspace allows user to store more than 1000+ Microsoft Office documents in one place. As an user, you can also share your Office document files with your contacts and the ability to control who can view, comment, and edit your documents.
