Two good news from Windows Live SkyDrive development team. The obvious good news is the upgrade from 1GB to 5GB FREE online storage. Now you can upload and share up to 5GB of data to Windows Live SkyDrive with your SkyDrive account (which requires a Windows Live ID). With SkyDrive, you will get your own personal folders which is accessible only to you, shared folders accessible to your friends, and public folders open to everyone (which can be subscribed to via RSS).

The other good news is SkyDrive available now in 38 countries/regions. In addition to Great Britain, India, and the U.S., SkyDrive is available to countries like Brazil, Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain and Sweden, to name a few.

The better and faster Skydrive is no longer under the beta testing. You can start to upload and share files with your friends now.
