One the main attraction of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia is the Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, which is just a stone’s throw from the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. The Butterfly Park houses more than 6,000 butterflies from 120 exotic species. It is said that the park is an imitation of the butterfly’s natural habitat. It includes more than 15,000 plants from 100 species that has been painstakingly landscaped to resemble a Malaysian rainforest atmosphere. Contributing to the Butterfly Park’s beautiful landscape is a uniquely designed hydro-pond built with a limestone path right in the centre. Surrounding this hydro-pond is a gazebo, commanding a breathtaking view.

Wow .. These are beautiful pictures ! Think I will bring my son there when he’s a little older
Hi BeeLee,
Yeah nice pictures if I may say so myself
But don’t be disappointed if it is not as nice as in the pictures
I did go to the K.L butterfly museum when I was in K.L, the only thing I do not like about going to Botanical garden or park in Malaysia is the hot and humid weather, it stings ! :).
We have a buttery park here , it is part of University of Florida Science dept.
I mean to bring my son there but have never got to do it yet :). I would only go if weather get less hot and humid here (like Autumn time, it is too hot and humid here too, Florida).
Hey, it is nice to see you blogging again, so is good to read Beelee comment.
Man, I am too busy to do any serious blogging, except my couponing experience :).
Take care and miss all of our gang members :):).
Jamy

Mr Eddie,
Yeah, will post more photos just for you next time..
I have been to KL butterfly park last month. It has been highly recommended by many locals on the internet. Can’t deny, it is a great get away from the busy KL city. In term of the number of butterfly… don’t expecting too much.
How much per entry? or free?
