Youtube launched video annotations on Youtube some days ago but here is the first interactive game on Youtube. Video Annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary to your videos. Use them to add background information about the video, create stories with multiple possibilities (viewers click to choose the next scene) or link to related YouTube videos, channels, or search results from within a video.

Hexolabs created a simple car game using annotation which makes you jump to the next level or you can say that you are taken to the next level’s video in a new page.

The game is of total 9 videos containing 8 levels. The first video starts and a “Click” button appears at random places for a very short duration in the videos. Click on the Annotations(“Click” button)on the screen to move up in the level. Make sure Annotations are always switched “ON”. Clicking the button takes you to the next video or the next level. So all you have to do is quickly click on the link before it disappears otherwise you will loose the game.
