Scrumy – Online Project Management Tool

Scrumy

Scrumy is a project management tool loosely based off of Scrum. The original version of Scrumy is and will always be available for free. However, if would like to have some extra features like password protection for your project, then you can choose for a Scrumy Pro version by clicking the upgrade link on your project. Upgrading will cost you the low low price of $7/month, or $5/month if you prepay for a year.

Scrumy-dashboard

To create a new project, just go to http://scrumy.com/<anything you want> and you have a new project. Click on the “+” button next to the story you want to add the task to. A big task editor will pop up where you can type your task and its assignment. A story is used to group tasks, like a category. In software development you can tell a brief story of one thing the user should be able to do and organize tasks around that. To delete a task, click the “X” in the upper right corner of the task. To delete a story, click the “Delete” link that appears when you move your mouse over the story.

I agree, while project management with srum is useful, but it is just a small bit of the pie, usually you need much more features then scrummy can offer now, like for example comindwork dot com, or attask dot com

it is simple, true – but is it powerful enough? I doubt it. I currently use Deskaway and im extremely happy with their pace of development and also their customer support – will Scrumy be able to offer that?

Also i think since PM tools are used mostly to collaborate in the workplace – the simple look may go against Scrumy.

$10 a month is what i pay for DeskAway which isnt bad, Scrumy has a competitive price. Unfortunately in terms of features its probably not the best bet.

Scrumy just released some now features. It has a product backlog as well as a few design changes. Also, relative to the customer support, even though there had been no problems in that area it has also been enhanced. Further feature development is already in progress as well.
