Twitrratr – tracking opinions on twitter

twitrratr

There are ways to extract information from Twitter. Now it is possible to discover what people are really saying on Twitter. With Twitrratr you can distinguish negative from positive tweets surrounding a brand, product, person or topic.

Twittratr is a StartupWeekend project that started simply with the question of whether tweets about Obama were generally positive or negative in nature. As the project progresses, Twittratr is equiped with a list of positive keywords and a list of negative keywords. Whenever you search for a keyword/topic in Twitter, Twittratr will search Twitter for that keyword and the results will be cross-referenced against the adjective lists, then displayed accordingly.

Example shown below for the "iphone" keyword.
