Mindzilla is a simple web site that allows you to grab a favicon from any web site and save it onto your computer. A favicon which is short for favorites icon, also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is a 16×16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website.

1. To start, simply enter a URI and select an image format. The URI can be a domain name or the URI of a specific web page.

2. Press the Grab It! button to get the shortcut icon for that page or site.

3. If the image is displayed in the Grabbed Icon area, save the image. This can be done from within our web browsers, you can right-click the image and select “Save Picture As…” or “Save Image As…”.

* If there is a problem with grabbing the icon, you will see the “Error!” image in place of the icon.
