Flickr is one the largest photo sharing sites out there. If you are a flickr user and would like to display your flickr photos in your wordpress blog then flickrRSS is the right plugin for you.

flickrrss.settings.panel

flickrRSS plugin for WordPress allows you to display Flickr photos easily on your weblog. flickrRSS supports user, set, favorite, group and community photostreams. Overall, flickrRSS is relatively easy to setup and configure via the settings panel. The plugin also has cache support, allowing you to save thumbnails on your own server.

Installation

  1. Put the flickrRSS files into your plugins directory.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Configure your options under the Settings tab.
  4. To use an image cache, create a writable directory and specify its location in the settings.
  5. Add <?php get_flickrRSS(); ?> to your templates where you want the images to appear (or use the widget system).
