Page Speed is an open-source Firefox/Firebug Add-on. Webmasters and web developers can use Page Speed to evaluate the performance of their web pages and to get suggestions on how to improve them.

After you run Page Speed, you will see a list with all the factors that would make your site load faster, with an image illustrating whether or not your website checks for each. Google’s Page Speed appears to be in competition with Yahoo’s YSlow, which has been available for some time.
