MS-Outlook front end for Google apps using Google Apps Sync

Good news for those who love Microsoft Outlook interface but loathe the licensing cost of Microsoft Exchange.  You can now use Google Apps Sync!

g-apps-sync

“Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook allows you to use Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 effectively with Google Apps. You get the cost savings, security and reliability of Google Apps while employees can use the interface they prefer for email, contacts and calendar.” from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync

It will basically synchronized both your MS Outlook client and your Gmail without the use of Microsoft Exchange.  This is a powerful tool for those who wants to migrate from Microsoft Exchange to Google Apps.

Great news! I got used to MS Outlook but at leas on my machine, it really likes to crash. So I’ve been looking for an alternative and as it turns out what I really needed was an Outlook look-alike. Thanks :)
