The Microsoft Security Essentials Beta (formerly known as Moro) is now available for download and testing. Security Essentials is a free program that fights viruses and spyware. Security Essentials runs on Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
In order to download, you’ll need to sign in with your Connect account or register for a new one to gain access. According to Microsoft, Security Essentials has features like auto updates and auto upgrades. The interface for Security Essentials is quite user-friendly too. Through the Security Essentials’ Settings tab, you’ll have fast access to advanced tools that power users might reconfigure.

Interesting…I’ll have to look into this further. I’m sure if it’s any good it will be fully integrated in Windows in the future.
