Ever wish to create your very own font based on your handwriting. FontCapture is a web service that allows you to create a font from your very own handwriting. There’s no software to download and install, all you need is a printer and a scanner.

To start, simply download and fill in the font template, scan and upload it to FontCapture website, and download your completed font. The recognition algorithm by FontCapture  will try to recognise your handwriting and determine the font based on the position and rotation of the template.

The fonts you create using FontCapture can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. If you are on Windows, browse to your Fonts folder (usually located at C:\Windows\Fonts), and drag-and-drop your font file to the Fonts folder. If you have a Mac, simply double click on the font, and then click "Install font" in the window that appears.
