Google Buzz, the latest feature from Google has definitely generated alot of "buzz" in term of privacy (pun intended).

With so many complaints from users,  Google has finally released the latest setting in Gmail which gives user the option to either hide it or shut it off altogether. Once Google Buzz is turned off, it will also disconnect any connected sites and unfollow you from anyone you are following.

Besides that, you can also decide to show Google Buzz in your Gmail or re-enable it, by clicking on "turn Buzz on" in the same location at the bottom of Gmail. When you reactivate Buzz, you’ll have to remake your profile and start following people again, although your followers will remain intact.
